Ep 1 – Pat Spillane the Hurling man

In the first episode of The Game on Sunday, Michael, Tomás, and Pat get a few things off their chest before they discuss the big talking points over the last week or so.

The “new” split season is still an issue for them with too many games, played too close together and the entire competition is over much too soon.

The pundits also share their thoughts on the recent interaction between Joanne Cantwell and Dónal Óg Cusack on The Sunday Game in relation to comments he made about the Tailteann Cup. Michael, Tomás & Pat give their views on the situation, having been there themselves.

On the field, Pat Spillane looks at the Kerry performance and gives his thoughts on what it tells us about the All-Ireland contenders. While in hurling Tomás Mulcahy looks back at a remarkable Munster Senior Hurling Championship so far.
